I’m Tash, aka Pirate Baker.
You can find me working behind the scenes as a Home economist for film and TV, creating dishes to suit the production and scene, from contemporary to Fantasy.
Together with this, I have the privilege of being whisked away with Musicians on Tours, where I am the purveyor of pastries, desserts, cakes, cookies and anything else they can dream up, which keeps me on my toes and constantly coming up with dishes that fill with excitement, comfort, intrigue, and even nostalgia.
My culinary journey began as a little girl, always wanting to help my Mum, Auntie, and Grandma with whatever they were cooking up! From there, I loved to bake - and even more so eat - with Afternoon Tea being my absolute favourite indulgence!
A career in Fashion and a C-Change later, I took my love of Afternoon Tea and retrained as a Patisserie Chef in a Michelin Star Kitchen, whilst attending Westminster Kingsway College, earning a Professional Patisserie Scholarship. Working in the kitchens of some of London’s top restaurants, as well as cooking and eating my way across continents, I’ve taken my experience and influences and invite you to join me on a journey of the epicurean kind.
